I would like to share with you my most recent portrait. It is of my sister, Ellen. I worked on this over the course of two weeks. The apple she is holding did not last that long.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

The her image is life size, and the dimensions of the painting are 44 inches high by 38 inches wide. Oil on linen. This image shows only a portion of the overall painting. I will post a photo of the entire painting soon.

You never cease to amaze me. Your art work is incredible. It has a (for want of a better word) "hazy" look about it that is extremely appealing to me.
It must be very fulfilling for you to be able to look at a work of yours with pride.

Hi Mogs,
The photo tends to make the painting actually have more contrast (harder edges, and distinct separation of colors, especially in the skin tones. Thank you for looking in! I hope to see you and Harris soon.

Your talent blows me away over and over and over again! Keep plugging away.

Have you heard about the Monet exhibit in Raleigh?
